Free Education for Orphaned and Poor Girls – A Self-Organized School Initiative

The Fairy Elementary School, Sukkur

This initiative stands as a model of how self-organization and collective goodwill can make a lasting impact where it’s needed most.
Education is a fundamental right of every child, yet millions of orphaned and poor girls remain deprived due to financial and social barriers. Providing free education to these vulnerable groups is not just a form of charity it is an investment in a more just, equal, and prosperous society.
Since 2022, Farzana (M) Welfare Organization has been providing not only shelter and sponsorship to orphaned girls (affectionately referred to as “fairies”) but also free education. In addition, in a society where many orphaned and underprivileged girls are denied their right to education due to poverty and social challenges, our self-organized school has taken the initiative to provide completely free education to support and uplift these vulnerable children.

The Fairy Elementary School, Sukkur

The school operates independently, without regular government funding, and is driven by a mission of service, compassion, and community support. Our aim is to ensure that no girl is left behind because of her circumstances.

We provide:
• Free admission, tuition, books, uniforms, and other learning materials
• Special focus on moral, technical, and life skills education
• A safe and nurturing environment where girls can grow with dignity and confidence
• Support for emotional and psychological well-being, recognizing the trauma that many orphaned children face
The goal is to empower girls by giving them the opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute positively to their families and communities. Educated girls are more likely to secure better jobs, delay early marriages, and raise healthier families.
